"Little Venice", that's how the city of Treviso is called. The "cagnan", a dialect term to indicate the canals that cross this beautiful city, is reminiscent of the Venetian ones. During a walk through the streets of the historic centre you can admire the combination of historic and modern architecture, whose union gives the city a completely different tone to any other urban centre. Calmaggiore street is the heart of the historic center, walking you can reach all the main places of the city, “Piazza dei Signori”, the “Palazzo dei Trecento”, the Duomo and the “Loggia dei Cavalieri” are symbolic points of the city.
